I firstly came up with a design by creating mock-ups and wire frames using graphic packages like Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator and Fireworks. I looked at similar type websites online to establish what I felt worked and would like to incorporate into my design.
I decided on a blue and bright colour scheme to give people that great holiday feeling. Once I had this, I searched the web for suitable images. Using Ilustrator and In Design I then manipulated images to fit in with my design.
I then set about creating the website in Adobe Dreamweaver, while using coding languages: HTML and CSS. I first created a template that all pages of the site could be based on. In this template I have editable regions that can be altered for each page of the site, while the rest of the design is continous throughout each page. It is a responsive design that has been tried and tested using Browser Lab. The CSS of this website design, like all my websites, are in a external Cascading Style Sheet, so the style effects can be implemented similtaniously across the whole site. I used vaiditaors to ensure website viability.Click here to visit the actual website
